Falling Hare Bugs Practice

(My drawing/ the original)

(Notes)

After doing some Preston Blair lessons over at "Cartoon Fundamentals" (mostly of the eggheads) I decided to try out a full-body pose of Bugs Bunny. This great pose was originally done by Bob McKimson for Clampett's "Falling Hare." A few proportions in this first attempt didn't turn out too well, and it was hard trying to capture Bugs's subtleties. There will be more to come though. Critiques and tips are always welcome.

That's pretty damn good!

I would suggest you check out the John K. videos linked on our fundamentals blog. If you use some more construction for your underture (skeleton) you'll have less mistakes. Your eyes are already pretty good at measuring, you just need the construction to make it perfect.
